Wisteria Goldens Donates to McDonald's of Central Arkansas
McDonald’s of Central Arkansas will soon present the ninth annual Chocolate Fantasy Ball with proceeds benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas. As part of the charitable efforts, English Cream Golden Retrievers, Wisteria Goldens of Parks, Arkansas, has donated a female puppy with all the accessories to the charity.
Debbie Franklin, owner of Wisteria Goldens, stated, “We’ve been asked to donate puppies for many worthy causes over the years, but we’ve always declined. We feel strongly that a dog is a lifetime commitment, and not something to be given away to a random stranger. But with personal friends – and owners of three of our pups – on the board of directors (Clark & Janelle Mason and Rob Clancy) of the charity, we feel confident the puppy we donate will find a loving, forever home.”
The new owner of the puppy will receive items such as a leash and collar, bowls, toys, crate, and a lifetime supply of Life’s Abundance premium dog food and pet care products.
Franklin added that since Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas does such important work for sick children and their families, they (Wisteria Goldens) wanted to be able to participate in this important fundraising event.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas (RMHCA) is locally funded and operated and is a 501(c)3 organization for children and their families. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas strives to address the needs of families in staying with their hospitalized children and how they can afford staying together in another city while their child undergoes treatment. In addition to helping families, also provide solutions through the Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.
