FishBowl Worldwide Media Launches Petsami YouTube Channel
A new YouTube channel has been released by FishBowl Worldwide Media, designed for people who are passionate about their pets and presented from the perspective of their animals.
Petsami’s goal is to offer insights into the lives of pets through a pack of pet personalities. Petsami plans to deliver daily premium pet and animal social content and then encourage viewers to share content around the animals in their own lives.
Bruce Gersh, president and CEO of FishBowl, shared, “Petsami allows us to leverage our incredible library of curated user-generated content to bring a new, fun and comic twist to current animal programming. The Petsami Network expands beyond a viewing channel to a specific destination that entertains, engages and encourages conversations with YouTube audiences and beyond."
Celebrity Carrie Ann Inaba, of Dancing With The Stars, will serve as executive producer on a series involving cats, while celebrity trainer and animal advocate, Laura Nativo, will be creative director of the Petsami platform. Nativo appeared on CBS' Greatest American Dog and GSN's Dog Park Superstars.
The channel launched with six shows, including CuteWinTail, Leash Line, One Minute Meerkat, Ask a Tiger, KlipKat, and How2BCute.
Users can engage by watching the episodes on the YouTube channel but also by visiting the Petsami website at www.petsami.com. Touted as the world’s first entertainment channel for and by pets, the interactive platform will include blogs, photos, behind-the-scenes videos, message boards, and other social channels.
FishBowl Worldwide Media is an independent production company that was founded in 2010 by Vin Di Bona and Bruce Gersh, with a creative team being led by Susan Levison. The company is considered a transmedia storytelling community that partners with marketers, digital companies and ad agencies in addition to the Hollywood creative community.
