The World Pet Association (WPA), which allows membership to a variety of segments in the pet world including manufacturers, distributors and retailers worldwide, has announced that America’s Family Pet Expo will be returning to Orange County, California from April 20 through April 22, 2012.
The location will be the Orange County Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa. Over 1,000 animals including dogs, cats, equine, birds, fish, llamas, potbellied pigs, goats, rats, reptiles, rabbits, miniature horses and more will be present in addition to interactive stage shows, competitions and demonstrations.
In 2011, over 680 animals were adopted at the show and more animals will be available for adoption this year as well. Some of the over 400 exhibitors will include Bow Meow Pet Products, No Stray Left Behind, Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary, Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue, and JUMP! The Ultimate Dog Show, Splash Dogs, police and search dog demonstrations, and the latest trends in pet care grooming and care.
General admission is $12, seniors over 60 are $10, and children between 6 and 12 years of age are $6 each. For children five years of age and younger, admission is free. Show hours are Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 10am-7pm; Sunday 10am-6pm. OC Fair and Event Center, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California. Parking is $5.
