Barking Zone Dog Daycare (the BZ) announced it opened its newest location of the franchise in Jasper, Alabama at the Farmstead Veterinary Clinic. The clinic is a 12,000 square foot state-of-the-art veterinary medical clinic spearheaded by Dr. Jeremiah Alexander.
Barking Zone founder and CEO Rick Clark, shared, “We’re always excited when we launch a new Barking Zone location. The community gets excited, the Vet clinic gets excited and most of all the dogs get excited. We’re opening just in time for one of our usual holiday parties where dog get to come in, play all day and make something cool for mom and dad for Valentine’s day. This year – we’re doing Valentine cards with the dogs doing their own paw prints.”
The Barking Zone has its headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama. They have been offering dog daycare franchising and dog services since 2003. Offering dog daycare franchise opportunities for veterinary clinics in the Southeast as well as national markets, they offer partner management, branding and marketing in addition to their dog daycare services.
Barking Zone co-founder and operations manager Drew Clark reported, ““I think at first, Vet clinics are stunned at the potential revenue an on-site dog daycare can produce. We’ve worked, tested and understood this business model since 2003 and it works. We create an experience for dogs that allows them to have fun, socialize and play with other dogs and give their owners piece of mind that they are not just laying around the house all day when their owners are at work.”
The goal of BZ is to provide a safe environment for dogs to socialize and meet new friends. They started the business at Caldwell Mill Animal Clinic and continued from there. The BZ Dog Daycare lets dogs out around 8:30 a.m. for playtime, running, pool time or just to relax. At 11:30 a.m., dogs are brought back inside for a nap. Between 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. they play with their friends until pet parents arrive.
