Book Released from American Pet Products Association President
From Wags to Riches: How Dogs Teach Us to Succeed in Business & Life is the title of a new book recently released by American Pet Products Association (APPA) President, Robert Vetere.
Published by BenBella Books and distributed by Perseus Distribution, the book strives to inform readers how and why to look to dogs as an invaluable source of wisdom in the business world. The book features interviews from CEOs of major companies who love animals and also provides tips and advice for boosting creativity in the corporate world.
The book features a forward by Dr. Marty Becker of Good Morning America and is endorsed by Animal Planet super trainer, Victoria Stillwell.
Vetere has spent the last two decades of his life leading management training seminars utilizing the insights he writes about in the book. Prior to joining APPA, he served as Senior Vice President, Administration, General Counsel, and Secretary at Oil-Dri Corporation of America.
APPA membership is open to pet product manufacturers who have a manufacturing facility or warehouse in the United States and meet specific membership requirements listed on the APPA website. Active members receive applicable membership benefits and full voting privileges.
Valerie Andrews assisted with the co-authoring of the book. Andrews recently co-authored the book The Business of Changing Lives: How One Company Took the Information Superhighway to the Inner City and edited several bestselling business books.
The book was published in December of 2001 and is 256 pages long, retailing for $22.00.
