Rachael Ray Nutrish Facebook Page "Likes" Help Pets in Need
Rachael Ray Nutrish creator and chef, Rachael Ray, announced recently a Facebook campaign to raise money for Rachael’s Rescue.
Sponsored by Nutrish pet food manufacturer, Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, for every LIKE received to the Rachael’s Rescue Nutrish Facebook page, $1 dollar will be donated to the rescue.
Rachael’s Rescue was created for pets in need, with 100 percent of proceeds from the sales of Nutrish dog food going to help animals in need. The money is used for food, medical supplies, and treatments for animals in need.
According to the Rachael’s Rescue website, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Nutrish products will go to organizations such as North Shore Animal League, Bad Rap, ASPCA, and America’s VetDogs.
The Rachael Ray Nutrish line of dog food is available in four varieties that include chicken and veggies, real beef and brown rice, Healthy Weight with turkey and veggies, and Just 6 lamb meal and brown rice. In addition, the line boasts Nutrish dog treats in a variety of flavors. The line is manufactured by Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, which is a family-owned and operated company that recently received the 2011 Food Safety Award. Founded over 75 years ago by George Ainsworth Lang, the entire Rachael Ray Nutrish line is manufactured in the United States.
Founded in 2008, Rachael Ray Nutrish dog foods contain no by-products, artificial flavors, or preservatives.
No purchase is required to take part in the campaign, with a $1 contribution being donated during the promotion period ending on or about March 31, 2012. Participants must be 13 years of age or older and one LIKE is allowed per user. Maximum contribution is $10,000.
