A one-weekend only holiday pet pop-up shop has been announced by Pet Socialite Events starting on December 9, 2011 with a media and VIP invite-only event.
Founded in 2009 by Charlotte Reed, Pet Socialite Events touts itself as a connection between pet industry professionals with targeted media outlets. Some of Pet Socialite participants have been featured in The New York Times, Reader’s Digest, USA Today, Real Simple, ABC Nightly News, and People Pets.
The holiday pet pop-up shop is a one-weekend only event targeting pet lovers in and around the metropolitan New York area. Some of the featured pet products and fashions expected to take part in the event include FouFou Dog, Go Pet, Hip Doggie, Imperial Cat, Isle of Dogs, Jax & Bones, Kane & Couture, Luca for Dogs, M&J Dog Essentials, ModaPet, Neko Flies, Olly Dog, Oscar Newman, Pet Acoustics, Pet Flys, Pet Portables, Pioneer Pet, and Robin Meyer NYC. During shopping, pets can have their photo taken with Santa on site. Attendees will receive sponsor bags from Cesar’s Way, Comfort Zone, Hartz, Wellness, Premier, PetSafe and Zero Odor while supplies last.
Free activities planned for pets and their humans at the holiday pet pop-up shop include making holiday treats, learning to safely and festively dye pets’ fur, play time with toys, holiday etiquette classes, and a dog painting class where dogs can channel their creativity.
Media and VIP only may attend December 9 by invitation from 5 pm to 9 pm. The general public is invited on Saturday, December 10, and Sunday, December 11, from 11 am to 6 pm.
