American Pet Products Association Promotes Four Staffers
The American Pet Products Association (APPA), formed in 1958 and the leading not-for-profit trade association of over 1,000 pet product manufacturers, their representatives, importers and livestock suppliers, recently promoted four of its staff members.
Located in Greenwich, Connecticut, the trade association promoted Anne Ferrante, Marian Thielsen, Josh Vetere, and Michelle Treacy.
Ferrante previously held the position of Associate Vice President and was promoted Vice President of Member Relations and Business Development. She will be tasked with overseeing membership recruitment and retention along with providing leadership to internal business operations.
Thielsen was promoted from Director of Marketing to Associate Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the association. She will lead strategy, tactics, and programs to help build recognition and demand for the trade group.
The two remaining promotions were given to Josh Vetere, who was promoted to Project Coordinator from his previous position of Associate Manager of Sales and Marketing, and Michelle Treacy from office administrator to project coordinator.
The mission of APPA is to promote, develop, and advance pet ownership and the pet products industry along with providing services in order for its members to prosper. They conduct market research and host educational seminars and teleconferences to provide industry information and disseminate it to their members.
