Two new e-newsletters have been announced and will be sent out to policyholders and other opt-in pet owners from Boise, Idaho-based Pets Best Insurance company.
Each of the two separate monthly emails will contain information on cats and dogs, respectively, along with an array of information targeted at helping pet owners. Some of the categories will be coping with pet behavioral issues, specials offers and savings, and pet health news.
Chris Middleton, Vice President of Marketing at Pets Best Insurance, stated, “Pets Best Insurance is committed to promoting the health and well-being of all pets. Accordingly, we feel that these e-newsletters will be a helpful and fun source of information for the continued care and happiness of pets and pet owners everywhere.”
The monthly e-newsletters will also feature a column from Dr. Jack Stephens, the original founder of Pets Best Insurance. In his column, topics such as how much food to give a pet, cancer in animals, and other health-related tips and news will be shared. In a recent article in its e-newsletter, the topic of overweight dogs and cats and how to help them slim down is addressed. “Claims of Fame,” from the real-life files of claims submitted by clients, will be showcased as will pet fashion trends, charity news, contests, and advice.
Pets Best Insurance was founded by Dr. Jack Stephens, DVM, in 2005. It is underwritten by Aetna Insurance Corporation of America and is a member of NAPHIA, the North American Pet Health Insurance. Touting 80 percent of veterinary services reimbursed after deductible and no benefit schedules or fee restrictions, Pets Best Insurance does have limitations and exclusions as all pet insurance plans do.
