Organic Hound Company Expands Online Presence and Retail Presence
Dog treat company, The Organic Hound Co., recently announced an increased online retail presence, with the addition of two new e-tailers carrying Organic Hound on their virtual shelves.
The Old Farmer’s General Store and The Yankee Magazine Store are both now stocking all flavors of The Organic Hound Co.’s dog treats. Featuring three flavors, organic pumpkin ginger, organic peanut butter flax, and organic beef heart, all Organic Hound treats are made in eco-friendly packaging from 100 percent recyclable compostable materials. They contain no wheat, corn, or soy and all treats are made in the United States with ingredients sourced from New England certified organic farmers. Each biscuit variety is USDA certified organic.
Owner Jess Hendelman shared, "The Organic Hound Co. is a perfect fit for the Old Farmer's General Store and The Yankee Magazine Store, which both emphasize high quality products, made in the USA by independent artisans. We hope that by displaying our products in these stores, we will reach an audience of dog lovers who value quality organic dog treats made with local ingredients."
Hendelman is a professionally trained dog trainer and K9 Search and Rescue training officer. She teamed up with Dr. Ian Billinghurst, the man behind the BARF Diet, in 2006, in an effort to educate dog owners about an all-natural diet. The Organic Hound Co. is owned and operated by Michelle Clark, Jessica Hendelman and Deb Harmon.
