Time Warner Cable Introduces IntelligentHome: Watch Pets From Remote Location
Time Warner recently announced a home management system, enabling pet owners to watch their pets while away. This new product, dubbed Time Warner Cable IntelligentHome, was released to the southern California marketplace. Pet owners can watch their canine and feline family members from work, providing a greater sense of security and comfort.
Time Warner Cable IntelligentHome provides secure camera feeds and joins the marketplace in time for holiday shopping, in sync with other recently released products, including the Signature Home and TWC WiFi.
“Time Warner Cable IntelligentHome gives our customers a new way to stay connected to home and the things that matter most. Our technology provides professional monitoring plus direct customer access to information about the home, all with a level of flexibility and control that traditional home security systems can’t deliver. We know this is what many of our customers need and we’re excited to deliver this innovative solution that is easy to access, operate and customize,” said John Keib, President, Residential Services, Time Warner Cable West Region.
The IntelligentHome secure camera feeds allows travelers to monitor their pets but also get a view of their homes and even change temperatures and light settings while they are away. Some of the features include in-home touch screen, free mobile app, five-diamond rated monitoring center from Time Warner Cable, and in-home cameras. Both battery and cellular backups enhance system reliability in the event of commercial power loss.
Boasting simple installation, touch screen controls and remote management options through secure websites and/or mobile apps, IntelligentHome’s in-home wireless technology is the latest technology to keep Fido and Fluffy safe and secure from Time Warner Cable.
