Camp Bow Wow, a chain of dog day care and overnight camps located across North America, recently announced a new location at The Woodlands, Texas. Lee and Kristi Franklin and a team of Certified Camp Counselors® will be at the helm of this new business.
Animal lovers since childhood, the Franklins look forward to their new business venture. “The safety and happiness of all of our Campers is our first priority,” said Kristl Franklin. “We make sure that all of the pups in our care get plenty of exercise, play and human attention. The all-day play environment is great for dogs. They can go between the indoor, climate-controlled play areas and the adjacent outside yards at will. They never have to wait for a walk, and can decide for themselves whether they’d like to run with the pack, climb on play bridges or curl up in a sunny nook for a nap.”
Ranked on the INC magazine 500 for 2009 list, Camp Bow Wow began franchising in 2003 and has grown to 100 camps and 75 Home Buddies franchise territories, with one location in Canada. All Camp Bow Wow clients must be natured or spayed, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordatella and be in good overall health with proper socialization skills.
The near 9,200-square-foot The Woodlands, Texas, location features four climate-controlled indoor play areas with adjoining outside yards and a special play area for smaller dogs. Dog parents may log on to The Woodlands Camp Bow Wow website or the Camp Bow Wow iPhone® app to watch real-time footage broadcast by Camper Cams® installed throughout the facility.
“Sending your dog to Camp helps to alleviate the stress that many pet guardians feel when leaving their pup at home alone all day,” said Lee Franklin, “because they know they’re having fun at Camp. By the end of the day our Campers are happy, tired and ready to relax.”
