Global Pet Expo announced it now has a company page targeting specific groups for exhibitors and buyers on LinkedIn. People are invited to connect with Global Pet Expo to engage in conversations surrounding the pet industry.
Because the show is a yearly event, the Buyer and Exhibitor groups on LinkedIn are being touted as a solution to not losing touch with contacts made at the expo. The main purpose of the group is to foster professional discussions about pet industry developments, keep people connected, and build upon relationships forged at Global Pet Expo.
The LinkedIn portion enables users to focus on professional and business conversations as they pertain to the booming pet industry. With Global Pet Expo being the pet industry’s largest trade show, the forums provide a useful and practical focus.
Global Pet Expo is presented by the American Pet Products Association (APPA) and the Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA.) Its growth has been increasing, with 2009 show numbers revealing 779 exhibitors, 2,306 booths and over 3,000 new product launches. In 2010, Global took place in March from Orlando, Florida. The 2011 numbers revealed 835 exhibitors, 2,380 booths, and over 3,000 new product launches. An estimated 4,691 product buyers attended from around the world.
The 2012 Global Pet Expo will take place at the Orange County Convention Center from February 29 through March 2, 2012 in Orlando, Florida.
