Bissell Gives $50,000 Donation To The Petfinder.com Foundation

Bissell Homecare, Inc., a floor care appliances company, has donated $50,000 to the Petfinder.com Foundation, a nonprofit public charity that helps homeless pets by saving their lives through adoptions. Part of that donation will be disbursed in a series of grants to help 10 Petfinder.com shelters and rescue groups in need of help.
"We're pleased to have had the opportunity to partner with Bissell to help numerous animal shelters and rescue groups in 2011," said Liz Neuschatz, executive director for the Petfinder.com Foundation. "Through the years, Bissell has been a great champion for pet adoption, and we admire the company's dedication to pet-related causes."
Earlier this year, BISSELL contributed $20,000 to help fund an animal shelter rehabilitation project in Eastern Kentucky led by Rescue University, a cooperative effort of the Petfinder.com Foundation and Animal Lifeline.
