Hollywood Feed Takes Over All About Pets

Tennessee-based Hollywood Feed has acquired All About Pets, another Tennessee-based business. The acquisition will force the closure of three All About Pets stores that are in close proximity to the Hollywood Feed locations. Financial terms of the deal were not released.
Hollywood Feed president Shawn McGhee said the process of shutting down the stores will begin this weekend. McGhee said the process will take up to eight weeks. One store will be completely broken down before another store is closed.
He said All About Pets employees will have opportunities to interview with Hollywood Feed, which currently has about 80 employees at its 10 Memphis locations. Hollywood Feed has also expanded into Alabama, opening stores in Birmingham and Mountain Brook during the first week of July.
