The Omni Berkshire Place, located at the corner of 52nd and Madison Avenue in New York, has a new Petsetter Package that includes a premier room plus access to the hotel's puppy porch and complimentary daily doggy dinner in the guest room.
"Pet-setting" pups will be able to order from a room service menu featuring canine cuisine such as Yappy-tizers, Fur d'oeuvres and Dog-serts. And on September 26 pet parents will receive exclusive access to a private reception with pet expert Victoria Stilwell as well as an autographed copy of Victoria's book, "It's Me or the Dog: How to Have the Perfect Pet."
The offer is available on September 26 only. Travelers can book at omniberkshireplace.com or call (800) The-Omni. The hotel accepts pets under 25 pounds and requires a $50 cleaning fee.
"To our guests, dogs aren't just pets - they're members of the family," said Peter Strebel, area managing director at the Omni Berkshire Place. "We wanted to create a way for guests and their four-legged friends to experience the hotel and thrilled to partner with Victoria Stilwell to do just that."
