Walkin' Wheels Inventor to Speak at New Hampshire Conference
Founder and president of the Handicapped Pets Foundation and HandicappedPets.com, Mark Robinson, will speak at BizConNH 2011 on Oct. 1 in Peterborough, NH. This business connection conference was established by entrepreneurs and business owners as a way to share success stories, offer advice and discuss new and interesting ideas. Robinson’s speech, aptly named the “Awww Factor,” teaches businesses how to maintain their customer base by using good old business strategies, coupled with cutting edge technologies.
Although Robinson was not the initial inventor of a wheelchair for dogs, he is the inventor of the first adjustable wheelchair for dogs. Since August 2008, people and their dogs world-wide have been benefiting from a thoughtful and innovative invention that has given countless dogs their mobility back. Just some of the benefits of this piece of equipment include its adjustability, the high grade, quality materials, the availability of replacement parts and astounding testimonials of veterinarians, rehabilitation facilities and consumers.
Walkin’ Wheels won the 2009 Award for Best Innovation in the category of animal health and the integration of pets in society at the Mascota Pet Festival and Expo, which is the biggest pet event in Spain. Also in 2009, it was awarded the silver Retailer Select Award from Pet Age magazine.
