The FamilyPet network, which includes popular companies like Petsitting.com and Localdogwalker.com, recently launched its latest endeavor, Coupaw.com. The company will officially introduce the service at the nation's top pet retailer convention in Las Vegas, SuperZoo 2011.
Coupaw.com is a daily deal site and will give pet owners access to savings on pet services and products. "We are very excited to launch Coupaw.com in order to help pet owners find the elite products and services they need at discounted prices," said Jared Katz, Vice President of Development for FamilyPet. “With our extensive experience in the industry, helping both pet owners and pet businesses, we feel we are in a great position to leverage our expertise and create a place for users to get significant deals on elite pet products and services.”
According to the American Pet Products Association, 62 percent of U.S. households own at least one pet, which equates to 72.9 million homes. Spending on pet-related products is estimated to top $52 billion in the U.S. in 2011. Coupaw.com hopes to connect with this market, offering great deals on products while allowing companies to advertise and grow their businesses.
The website, officially launched on August 25, will introduce its service to vendors at SuperZoo 2011, a convention known as the "National Show for Pet Retailers" that provides pet care industry retailers a chance to network and find new products and services to sell. The convention takes place Sept. 13-15 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
“Coupaw.com will be a great vehicle for connecting pet businesses with pet owners who are looking for the very best for their pets,” said Kevin Masterson, Chief Technology Officer for FamilyPet. “This is very robust daily deal website, and we look forward to a very positive response at SuperZoo 2011."
