Heska Corporation, a provider of veterinary diagnostic and specialty products, recently announced at the Central Veterinary Conference in Kansas City, Mo.  the beginning of their 2nd Annual "Inspiration in Action" Contest.

"Veterinary professionals have a unique opportunity to impact the human experience through our bond with animals," said Robert Grieve, Heska's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Heska stays inspired by the many talented individuals that have devoted themselves to exploring innovative ways to support this bond and improve the care veterinarians can provide."

The winning individual or team who receives the most online votes later in the year will be awarded $25,000. A second place price of $5,000 will be awarded to the runner up.

Grieve said Heska promotes this contest as a means to encourage innovation through inspired ideas. Last year's winners were Pets Forever, followed by World Vets.  Deadline for entries is Sept. 30. For more information go to www.heska.com/action.
