Veterinarian and Animal Hospital Introduces New Website
Yarmouth Veterinary Center has announced their redesigned website. Services offered at the facility range from veterinary care and animal hospital urgent care to pet grooming and pet boarding.
The website has been designed to provide animal owners with more information about the services pets can get at the veterinary clinic and the types of procedures that the vet can perform. As Dr. Peter Smith said, "We understand that pet owners need information and access at their fingertips and we have remodeled our website to provide a host of services and information online for convenience."
A staff veterinarian will see each pet upon arrival at the facility, and the five staff vets are listed, along with their credentials, on the new website in the "About Us: YVC Doctors" area of the site. Tom Hart, DVM, Louise LeBoeuf, DVM, Carol Mauriello, DVM, Becka Samson, DVM, and Peter Smith, DVM serve as staff members along with a number of front and back office staff with experience in the field of animal care.
The website lists the daily clinic hours in the "Clinic Hours" section and offers a map and detailed directions for locating the clinic in the "Find Us" section. Site visitors can contact the clinic via the "Email Us" link on the "Contact Us" page or can phone the clinic using the phone number provided in the same area.
The "Veterinary Topics" section of the website offers information about every aspect of pet care at the clinic. The "We Can Help Your Pet With" section discusses the types of medical issues the clinic routinely treats. Each medical issue has its own section, which the clinic says is meant to make information more accessible. As staff veterinarian Dr. Louise LeBoeuf said, "We have redesigned our website to offer pet owners access to much needed information."
The pet care topics also include selecting a pet, bringing a pet into the home, living with pets, and information about how today's veterinarians work with animals. The "Vetopedia" is a dictionary of terms used at the center and within the world of pet care, and can be accessed any time that users want to learn more about a particular term or condition.
A new website feature is the site membership option and the veterinary blog. Site visitors who join as site members will gain exclusive access to members-only content such as the site's newsletter and regularly updated news on any additions or changes at the facility. The new website will be a resource to all the pet owners who currently take their animals to the veterinary clinic, as well as to new visitors who want to learn more about pet care, according to the staff at the center. More information about the Yarmouth Veterinary Center is available on the website at yarmouthvetcenter.com.
