Offers are being taken for the domain name and trademark of VetDVM.com, and up for sale are its .net, .org and .info variants. Further, offers will be taken for the entire domain set, and the sale will also include the VetDVM.app for the iPhone.
“VetDVM.com, as a website and app, is about answering people’s questions and offering them solutions,” explained VetDVM’s Rob Ryan. “This lends itself perfectly to selling other products to those users on a performance or advertising basis – it can even be a product line name for supplements or even a food. The owner can use it as he or she sees fit.
“As for the domain solely – the main benefit today is its high type-in traffic quality. Someone searching for vets or under DVM for example, could find this domain quite easily. Most of the price, truthfully, is in the intangible value of the name – someone that wants to own the name of the profession.”
