Yesterday's News Promotes Recycling with New Fundraising Campaign

Yesterday’s News, a brand of cat litter made from recycled materials, recently launched a fundraising campaign that aims to encourage the public to recycle more.
The Rethink Litter! Campaign, which runs through October 4, invites consumers to visit Yesterday’s News Facebook page and take a pledge to recycle two paper products a week for 12 weeks. For every pledge received, Yesterday’s News has pledged to make a $1 donation, up to $5,000, to Keep America Beautiful, a nonprofit community action and education organization.
Additionally, Yesterday's News, which is made by Nestlé Purina PetCare, will make a $10,000 donation directly to Keep America Beautiful. Further, visitors to the Facebook page can enter a weekly sweepstakes for a chance to win a $50 gift card redeemable at www.giftback.com. Ten percent of the purchase made with the gift card will go to Keep America Beautiful.
Aside from the pledge and weekly sweepstakes, Yesterday’s News’ Facebook page features tips on ways to recycle more and the types of products and materials that can be recycled.
