RSPCA has awarded a license to Happy Pet to Produce Branded Dog Supplies
Five product lines have been produced exclusively for the Royal Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) by Happy Pet, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of pet products for the international market. Retail items include grooming products, rubber and rope toys and two tough and durable toy ranges specifically for outdoor play.
The RSPCA Grooming line consists of 12 brushes, combs and rakes for everyday grooming. Ergonomically designed with comfort grip handles, they will be available in a number of sizes to suit different breeds and sizes of dog.
Also available in various sizes, the RSPCA Rubber range consists of three balls: one round, one finned and a finned rugby ball shape, all made of high quality natural rubber that is safe and highly durable, as well as providing fun and healthy exercise for any dog. RSPCA Rope Toys are all handmade so dogs can play and chew safely. They are made of heavy-duty cotton rope, colored with safe, natural dyes.
RSPCA trading manager Cathy Snow said, “The Happy Pet RSPCA ranges of toys and grooming products have been developed with quality, usefulness and animal welfare very much in mind and have been carefully chosen to encourage pet owners to engage with their pets through supervised play and activities.”
Happy Pet plans to launch its RSPCA range at retail in late August. Work is also under way on a range of RSPCA collars and leads, which is likely to be at retail in October. The toys, grooming products, collars and leads will also be strongly promoted at the Happy Pet Showcase 2011 trade event in September, where major product launches are announced to retailers.
“These products will also promote awareness of our work and, through contributions from sales, will help to fund the RSPCA’s main mission: to prevent cruelty and promote kindness to animals," said Snow.
