DogTime Media's "The Petties" Awards to be Broadcast across Social Media Channels
The 2011 “Petties” honor top pet bloggers in the industry. The ceremony is hosted by DogTime Media, a communications group focused on pet owners, and is held during BlogPaws, an annual conference exclusively for pet bloggers.
“The Petties” will be broadcast on Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook to increase participation and awareness among the global pet community. DogTime also announced that there are now 565 bloggers attending BlogPaws. Because of the increased attendance, there are now double the nomination categories and double the prize money. Each winner will be able to donate $1000 to the charity or animal shelter of their choice.
"The Petties have become a rallying point for the pet blog community and their followers," said DogTime Media CEO, Trevor Wright. "We are increasing our commitment and our investment in the awards ceremony this year – essentially throwing open the ballroom doors and inviting the entire pet blogging community to join the fun."
DogTime allows for bloggers increasing readership, SEO and reaching pet owners. "Our mission is to provide the tools and services that bloggers need to grow their audiences and increase the influence of their voices," said Wright. "Whether they want to increase traffic, maximize revenue, review premium products, or join together in supporting animal welfare causes that are close to their hearts, DogTime can get them there."
