Pethealth Inc. and Wisconsin Humane Society Partnership

Pethealth Inc. is the largest supplier of pet insurance covering the United States and Canada. The company has announced a partnership with
Wisconsin Humane Society to create a new line of insurance, the Wisconsin Humane Society Pet Insurance Program or WHS Pet Insurance.
The package is comprehensive and covers accidents and illness including hereditary disorders. Rates will not increase with age.
"The Wisconsin Humane Society is not only one of the most respected organizations in the United States, but as an organization that has worked with us almost from the start, their insights and knowledge of the animal welfare industry have played a guiding role in our own growth and ability to meet the needs of animal welfare groups across North America," says Mark Warren, President and CEO of Pethealth Inc. "Entering this next stage in our partnership, it is both an honor and a pleasure to extend our relationship through the new Wisconsin Humane Society Pet Insurance Programs. I have tremendous respect for their organization and look forward to our continued mutual success."
Pethealth, Inc. and the Wisconsin Humane Society have been working together since 2002, this agreement verifies and extends the partnership. The Wisconsin Humane Society averages 10,000 adoptions every year, while providing medical care to 20,000 and is the largest animal welfare organization in the state. The humane society was an early adopter of Pethealth’s programs, ShelterCare and 24PetWatch, a micro chipping program.
"The financial security afforded by pet insurance has come to play an increasingly important role in animal welfare," says Anne Reed, Executive Director of Wisconsin Humane Society in Milwaukee, Wis. "Our longstanding relationship with Pethealth made them a natural choice for this partnership. Pethealth has developed a white-labeled insurance program through which we will be able to offer our new adopters and community members affordable medical coverage for their companion animals that is both comprehensive and simple to understand and apply. We are very pleased with this program and confident it will meet the needs of Wisconsin's companion animal guardians.”
