Animal Translations to Hold Conference on Complementary Animal Healing
The Conference on Complementary Animal Healing, featuring leading animal wellness practitioners in the fields of acupuncture, acupressure, chiropractic, craniosacral, energy healing, essential oils, homeopathy, and Reiki, will be held at The Holiday Inn in Boxborough, MA on November 11-12, 2012. The inaugural two-day event is sponsored by Animal Communicator Maureen Harmonay of Animal Translations.
On Sunday, November 11, the conference will be geared primarily toward healing techniques for dogs, with presentations by Reiki for Dogs author Kathleen Prasad of Animal Reiki Source in San Rafael, CA; Shirley Moore, a trained homeopath and founder of Save A Dog in Sudbury, MA; Nan Martin of Experience-Essential-Oils in Jupiter, FL; and canine and equine physical therapist Sally Morgan of Northampton, MA. Attendees are welcome to bring their dogs.
On Monday, November 12, the focus will be on horses, with Energy Healer Ginger Krantz of Earth Horse Healing in Ship Bottom, NJ; Equine Acupressure and Massage Therapist Denise Bean-Raymond of Exclusive Equestrian Services in Georgetown, MA; Kathleen Prasad; and Nan Martin. Noted holistic veterinarian Dr. Randy Caviness of the Integrative Animal Health Center in Bolton, MA will deliver the final address, on using complementary therapies in concert with conventional veterinary medicine to promote animal health and vitality.
Conference organizer Maureen Harmonay said, “My greatest hope is that the speakers at The Conference on Complementary Animal Healing will help participants discover that there are a variety of gentle modalities that can enhance our animals’ health and wellness. These so-called ‘alternative’ methods are not only safe and readily available, but are also remarkably effective at alleviating both physical and emotional distress.”
Attendees can register for one day ($159) or for both days ($298). Students are able to attend at a special reduced rate of $99/day. Everyone who registers by October 31st will receive a flower essence and a certificate for a complimentary animal communication consultation with Maureen Harmonay for the animal of their choice.
