The Honest Kitchen has released a line of loose-leaf teas for cats and dogs. The line of tea is meant to be pared with teas for humans and includes Quiet Tea, Easy Peasy, and Lithe Tea. The product is meant for relaxation, joint health, movement, digestion and quality diet.
Laurette Lamontagne, The Honest Kitchen’s resident herbalist advises, “Owners measure the recommended quantity of herbs, steep in hot water for five to 10 minutes and strain if desired.” The tea can be served in a traditional water bowl.
Lucy Postins, founder of The Honest Kitchen, adds, “The teas are designed to promote optimal health in dogs and cats.”
The Honest Kitchen sells natural pet food and supplements that are made from humane-grade ingredients. The company began in 2002 and has always been more than pet-friendly, but pet-driven. The company includes eight dogs as team members and specialized taste testers.
