Vedere and American Society of Interior Designers Team Up To Save Dogs
Vedere LLC recently announced a collaboration with the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation to sell their custom-made dog beds displayed and judged at the New York Metro Chapter of The American Society of Interior Designers’ (“ASID New York Metro”) first annual “Summer Social with a Bite.”
Vedere is an online directory for the home décor industry and features products, arts, and services from a variety of designers around the world. Dog beds that are created by other ASID designers will be available for purchase from Vedere. Some of the designers include Vedere members such as James Rixner and Evelyn Miller.
Christian Turnier, Vedere Creative Director Founder, shared, “We at Vedere believe this is a great opportunity to not only showcase talented artists but to also help our community by giving back to the causes we believe enrich our community and aid those in need.” The sale is planned to conclude on September 30, 2012, or when all dog beds are purchased, whichever comes first.”
Vedere was founded in 2008 and features service provides and artists that are connected with buyers, clients and future patrons.
There are eight accessories donated by ASID that have been featured on the Vedere website as of September 17, 2012. Profits from sales will go towards the Southampton Animal Shelter, located in Hampton Bay, NY, which provides care for abandoned, homeless, and neglected pets.
ASID was founded in 1975 and is touted as the oldest and largest professional organization for interior designers.
The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (“SASF”) is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 2009 to care for homeless animals at the Southampton Town Animal Shelter.
