Nestle Purina PetCare Company has launched their new line of dry pet food in cat and dog formulas. Be Happy is the name of the new food and the company is touting it as helping support strong bones and teeth, healthy vision, and a healthy skin and coat.
Nestle Purina PetCare has begun infusing the “Be Happy” philosophy into their pet food brand along with their social media presence like their Facebook page and mobile photo app.
Aaron Williams, Be Happy brand manager, shared, “We looked at the way our pets see the world and were inspired by how they just seem to instinctively know the secrets to being happy. We're celebrating our pets as our happiness heroes. We've incorporated this philosophy into everything we do, and are encouraging pet owners to join our happiness movement online."
The brand’s Facebook page has grown to over 100,000 fans in three months. The Be Happy Facebook fans have been able to customize t-shirts and upload photos from te Be Happy mobile photo app that is available in the iTunes and Google Play stores. On Pinterest, fans can interact with the “Happiness Art” board that features original craft projects inspired by the Be Happy philosophy.
For customers who are not completely satisfied with the experience of the Be Happy line, Purina will issue a full refund. The line is available in two varieties for cats: Deep Sea Duos Crunchies with Ocean Fish and Salmon Flavors and Poultry Pair-adise Crunchies with Chicken and Turkey Flavors. For dogs, there are two flavors: Beef Flavor and Chicken Flavor.
