Pet Business magazine recently reported a host of distributor announcements for the month of July, 2012, as of this writing.
A distribution agreement was signed between Espree Animal Products and Musti ja Mirri, which is considered to be Scandanavia’s largest pet store chain. Espree maintains 26 similar partnerships in 29 countries as pat of their international dealings. Musti ja Mirri began receiving requests for shampoos and conditioners, which precipitated their contact to Espree.
Premier Distribution has been acquired by American Distribution and Manufacturing Company (ADMC), who will leverage Premier’s product catalog, logistics marketing, and sales capabilities. Areas that ADMC will serve as a result of the expansion include Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Simply Pine Cat Litter revealed news of six new distributor partners including Den Bosch, Companion Pet Products, and RFG Distributing. Simply Pine is made of 100 percent natural pine, in the United States, and is available in three sizes: 7 pounds, 20 pounds, and 40 pounds.
Independent Pet Supply has been added as a distributor in the northwest United States for EzyDog. They will serve Washington and Oregonian retailers. A wholesale-only pet product distribution company, Independent Pet Supply has served independent retailers for over 10 years.
Phillips Feed & Pet Supply has been named a distributor for Pet King Brands, Inc., of their Zymox Enzymatic dermatology products.
Finally, Coast 2 Coast Pet and Zeigler’s Distributors have been named distributors of NoviPet products in the United States marketplace. They will sell NoviPet’s products in eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Virginia and eastern West Virginia.
