Mike LoSasso has been a practicing veterinarian for 19+ years. Over the years, his veterinary career has ranged from associate veterinarian to the owner of a small animal/exotics practice to the chief of staff of an emergency practice (he’s still there).
While the role of the veterinarian in pet/animal health is vital – veterinarians are trained in virtually all medical disciplines – veterinarians are not trained in speaking simply and clearly, in English, to the owners of their patients! Just like their human counterparts, some are better than others. Dr. LoSasso reports his goal is to help the pet-owning community understand the needs and challenges their pets face, by using English, not Greek or Latin. In 2011, he founded a company to help veterinarians educate their clients on important issues through monthly practice newsletters that speak to their clients in ordinary language.
Mike combines his knowledge of veterinary medicine with marketing strategy in order to assist small and medium-sized companies in the veterinary industry market their products and services. As a practicing veterinarian, he understands the inner workings of veterinary practices and how to market to veterinarians. As a compassionate vet of almost 20 years, he also understands the bond that people have with their pets.
