Zuke’s, a pet food company located in Durango, Colorado, recently announced the launch of their Super Treats for dogs, featuring antioxidants and nutrients. The line has new packaging and will debut immediately in retailers across the country.
Containing no corn, wheat, or soy (like all of the Zuke’s line of products), Supers have a low gluten content for any dogs that may be gluten-sensitive, according to the company. The new packaging features founder, Patrick Meiering’s, Labrador Retriever, Zuke, playing ball near Mt. Rainier outside of Seattle.
Meiering reported, “Superfoods pack a lot of punch. They are loaded with beneficial nutrients proven to prevent diseases and support longevity. Our Supers line reflects the latest in animal nutrition and supports our overall commitment to producing the most delicious and healthy treats for your pets.”
Flavors of the new products include Super Berries, Super Betas and Super Greens. They are available in six-ounce pouches for easy transportability and retail for $6.99 per bag.
Zuke’s has been in operation for 16 years, with their founding commitments to product innovation and the latest health developments for dogs and cats at their forefront. Zuke’s is a company that also encourages all dog owners to be active and healthy with their pets. In return, they donate a portion of every sale of a Zuke’s product to The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund, which Meiering founded.
The new treats are semi-moist and touted as a superfood for dogs. From antioxidant-rich berries to robust beta-carotenes and wholesome veggies, each flavor represents a different class of the most powerful superfoods.”
