K9 Bytes, a developer of kennel software solutions for the pet car industry, has been acquired by Epazz, Inc., a cloud-based software solutions company.
K9 Bytes reported their 2010 unaudited revenue over $400,000. Their kennel software solutions are used in pet care areas such as pet boarding, daycare, grooming, training, and other pet care services. They have been developing technologic solutions for the pet care industry for over 20 years.
Epazz, Inc., is a cloud-based business solution software company that has been providing web-based applications for government, higher education, and the private sector. They hold subsidiaries in DeskFlex, Inc., Professional Resources Management, Inc., Intellisys Inc., and Autohire. With this acquisition, Epazz reports being able to now offer comprehensive businesses cloud software solutions and services to companies of every size.
Shaun Passley, CEO of Epazz Inc., reported, “We are excited that K9 Bytes has joined the Epazz family of software products. We are currently combining K9 Bytes into BoxesOS, our flagship cloud solution, to immediately provide K9 Bytes customers with cloud platform. Once this is complete, 'our per customer' revenue is expected to increase due to the enhanced function of BoxesOS.”
In 1988, K9 Bytes was founded and released its first version of the K9 Koordinator management system for DOS. It was one of the first software tools in the world designed for the pet care industry. K9 Bytes employs experienced software developers along with pet care specialists from a variety of academic backgrounds.
Epazz was founded in February of 1999 by Shaun Passley. They have created software for enhancement of the way institutions and corporations do business.
