A new product dubbed “state of the art hydration for dogs” has been released to the pet industry marketplace. Troff is a patent-pending hydration pouch for canines with a non-spill valve and twist off top pouch.
The Troff pouch is made from FDA-approved materials and is BPA free. It has three layers: one inner layer prevent odor absorption, a middle layer to maintain tenacity, and an outer layer to preserve the design.
Elizabeth Hanson is the founder and president of Troff and reports growing up surrounded by many dogs. Hanson has a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, with an emphasis in Food Science along with a Baccalaureate degree in Design with a minor in Art History. She has become an advocate for canine hydration and thermoregulation importance.
The Troff pouch is made from FDA-approved materials and is BPA free. It has three layers: one inner layer prevent odor absorption, a middle layer to maintain tenacity, and an outer layer to preserve the design.
Each Troff pouch holds 17 ounces of water and when emptied, can be rolled up, reused, and stored anywhere. Hanson reports that the Troff pouch reduces landfill waste by over 90 percent compared to water bottles of the same volume, and it is reusable until damaged. She hopes that customers will recognize the value in preventing the spread of germs with “community” dog water bowls, particularly respiratory diseases.
The Troff pouch was featured in Pet Business Magazine’s April 2012 edition. Every Troff hydration three-pack includes three 17-ounce Troff pouches for $15.99. Troff is based in Edina, Minnesota, and orders can be placed on the company’s website, www.troffpouch.com.
