Mars Veterinary Acquires Canine Heritage Brand XL Breed Test Product
A business acquisition has taken place recently, with Mars Veterinary acquired Canine Heritage Brand XL Breed Test product. The product was previously offered by Scidera Canine LLC in the canine DNA breed identification market.
The acquisition comes on the heels of the resolution of a patent infringement suit brought against Wisdom Panel canine breed identification product by Mars. Customers who have already purchased a Canine Heritage DNA test and have not yet received results are being ensured that tests will be processed with Mars Veterinary, provided that the purchasers submit their dog's DNA swab within 90 days starting June 19, 2012.
