The Fancy Feast brand of cat food recently introduced a new product, Fancy Feast Mornings Gourmet Cat Food. The line is breakfast-themed.
According to results of a survey conducted by Fancy Feast, more than 60 percent of respondents said their cats were most eager to get their attention in the morning so they could eat. Almost 45 percent of respondents shared that they feed their cats in the morning, and more than 70 percent said they are awakened each morning by their cats or an alarm clock.
As of June 25, 2012, Fancy Feast Facebook page visitors will find Morning Mission announcements. When the “mission” is completed by the community, free samples are unlocked.
Fancy Feast Mornings Gourmet Cat Food are available at a retail price of between $0.80 cents and $0.89 cents per can and include six flavors. Flavors include Souffle With White Meat Chicken, Garden Veggies and Egg; Souffle With Turkey, Garden Veggies and Egg; Souffle With Wild Salmon, Garden Veggies and Egg; Medley With White Meat Chicken, Garden Veggies and Egg in Sauce; Medley With Trout, Garden Veggies and Egg in Sauce; and Medley With Wild Salmon, Garden Veggies and Egg in Sauce.
In addition and to work in tandem with the new product launch, Fancy Feast has launched a free mobile app called "MorningPurr.” It will be available in early July and enables cat owners to record their cats’ purrs as wake-up sounds along with personalizing their alarm screens with photos of their cat(s).
