American Pet Products and Pets Add Life Announce Viral Video
The American Pet Products Association (APPA) announced recently that their Pets Add Life (PAL) video, “Pet Interviews: Guinea Pig” has gone viral and is the first in a series of five videos debuting this summer.
The mission of the videos is to help spread Pets Add Life’s mission of promote the joys and benefits of pet ownership.
APPA President Bob Vetere, stated, “After seeing the success and positive feedback from our first video this year, we look forward to sharing the next four. Not only are they clever and entertaining, but they each help spread PAL’s message in a fun way while encouraging multiple pet ownership of animals of all types.”
The PAL guinea pig video is produced by the “Ultimate Dog Tease” YouTube hit creator, Andrew Grantham, whose videos have garnered over 100 million views. The videos were also named Number Two on YouTube’s Top 10 videos of 2011.
PAL is a non-profit campaign founded by APPA. The APPA was formed in 1958 and is the leading not-for-profit trade association of over 1,000 pet product manufacturers, their representatives, importers and livestock suppliers.
APPA membership is open to pet product manufacturers who have a manufacturing facility or warehouse in the United States and meet specific membership requirements listed on the APPA website. Active members receive applicable membership benefits and full voting privileges.
