The online resource USAPetCONNECT launched a new design of the website Monday. Traditionally the websites were divided by state, but the new homepage features all of the state sites in one spot.
USAPetCONNECT links pet owners and prospective pet owners to pet-related business such as retailers, shelters, veterinarians, daycares, and groomers.
“The new sites were designed to give pet lovers an easy way to find top pet-related services, watch a video, read informative articles, locate a dog park, give to a charity or find their forever friend, all on one easy-to-navigate website. Visitors on any state site can now search for local pet services or professionals by their city or zip code,” said Michael Bunton, president of Technology & Development.
Owners and businesses can search by zip code refining search results. Families travelling with their pets can search for services close to their destination. Emergency services are important to have on hand especially when travelling in the summer. Also all state sites and the national site are mobile friendly.
“As the only network of 50 State Pet Resource Sites, USAPetCONNECT has a unique competitive advantage that gives industry groups and national advertisers a powerful new marketing channel,” says Steven Bailey, president of Sales & Operations.
USAPetCONNECT chose a very special launch date. “The team at USAPetCONNECT chose the 4th of July as the official re-launch date of our newly designed 50 State Network because it’s a proud patriotic holiday that lends itself to celebration as well as future annual events,” said Andrea Barrett, president of Marketing & Sales.
