The Zoom Room, an eco-friendly dog training franchise, has signed new deals with locations in northern and southern California, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
They are the only brick-and-mortar dog training franchise in the United States and currently have 10 locations, with a total of 27 planned over the next several years. The Zoom Room was founded in 2007 by dog trainer Jaime Van Wye and offers classes to dog owners on training. The Zoom Room also hosts dog birthday parties, breed meet-up groups, and fundraising events.
They specialize in dog agility such as weave poles, A-frames, tunnels, teeter totter, and custom-designed programs for puppy training, agility training for older dogs, and programs for any size, age, or breed of dog. Group training or one-on-one private classes are available, and all of the sessions from Zoom Room used positive reinforcement dog training methods.
The state of California has proven pivotal in the company’s growth, with the franchise’s owners, David Essex and Jesse Simon, signing on to open four more locations in the Los Angeles area. There are an additional 11 agreements linked to locations across the state. Existing locations include Texas, Florida, Wisconsin, Colorado, and North Carolina.
Mark Van Wye, Chief Operating Officer, shared, “We’re thrilled to continue the expansion of the brand in our home state of California and in brand new markets around the U.S. The fact that our very first franchisee in Culver City has signed on with four additional locations is a testament to the ongoing popularity and demand for Zoom Room in California. The fact that we’re moving into Ohio and Pennsylvania shows that our national reach is increasing and word of opportunities with Zoom Room is spreading.”
