Registrations are now opened for Superzoo, touted as the “National Show for Pet Retailers” for the pet industry trade. The show takes place from September 11 through 13, 2012, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The World Pet Association produces and manages Superzoo, which runs from 10 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, September 11; 10 am to 5 pm on Wednesday, September 12; and 10 am to 3 pm on Thursday, September 13. Pet groomers and retailers are welcome to register for Superzoo University, Groomer SuperShow seminars, and Groomer SuperShow grooming contests. A complete list of seminars is available at the Superzoo University website.
Groomer SuperShow seminars and grooming contests at Superzoo are designed to help pet groomers advance as well as calling attention to the pet grooming industry. There will be seminars in a variety of categories for groomers to learn tips, tricks, tools, and strategies to use in their own trade and/or business.
The World Pet Association was formed in 1951 and was the pet industry’s first professional association. In addition to producing and organizing SuperZoo, WPA donates to charitable causes, with more than $150,000 given to the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council to monitor legislative issues nationwide that may impact the industry.
In 2007, WPA launched PetSource.org, a website designed to share information about all species and breeds of companion animals.
As with previous SuperZoo shows, this year’s promises to feature pet industry suppliers, thousands of product lines, and show specials for retailers. SuperZoo University covers a variety of topics in including business development, animal wellness, and technology/internet.
