Blue Chip Pet Care Franchise is presently offering franchise opportunities across the United States in select markets. The company was originally called Lucky Dog Nashville and was developed in the city by locals.
In 2009, the company’s CEO and founder, Hunter Reed, changed the business model to include dog walking, pet sitting, pet shuttle, in-home product delivery of pet supplies, and more. With this new franchise opportunity announcement, Reed hopes to make the offering a lucrative one.
Hunter reported, "When I developed the business I envisioned a highly professional full service pet company that provides a total turnkey service to the customer. Our services are focused around the three core principles that I believe any pet owner and pet would appreciate. Reliability, exceptional customer service and a high standard of professionalism."
Blue Chip Pet Care Franchise is touted as a home-based pet service company. The name was selected because of the pet industry’s reputation for being “recession proof.”
An Area Developer and Franchise Director has been selected for first quarter 2012 with Blue Chip Pet Care. Alan George will oversee the states of Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. There are also plans for franchise locations to open in Beverly, Massachusetts and Olive Branch, Mississippi in 2012.
Bark Soup radio host, Alan George, shared, “Blue Chip Pet Care seems to have their 'paws' on the prize and they are looking forward to sharing their model and business philosophy with others in hopes to develop a name that resonates with both two-legged and four-legged consumers across the nation.”
Reed initially created the service for professional pet owners who lived in the downtown Nashville area in 2009. With eight sitters under him servicing client needs, he noticed company revenue growing and he was able to travel more. Soon thereafter, Blue Chip was born.
