PetHub, Inc., the software company known for introducing Quick Response Codes ("QR Codes") on pet ID tags, announced their technology is now available globally.
PetHub’s international digital pet identification tags enable immediate access to a pet’s information via Quick Response code with GPS email notifications, and web profiles for consumers. The tags not only include pet name and phone number, but also information such as alternative emergency contacts, necessary medication, allergies, immunizations, vet and insurance providers, and dietary needs.
Tom Arnold, founder and CEO of PetHub, shared, “It’s very important to make sure our pets are not roaming the streets with out of date information, whether it’s outdated tags or microchips.”
The company will make its international debut at Interzoo in Nuremberg, Germany on May 17 as they partner with Red Dingo’s booth in hall 6, stand 6-406.
PetHub customers enter their pet’s data into a database. If a pet ever goes missing, shelter alerts can be send to surrounding area shelters immediately, pet cards can be shared so that they can add to your pet’s record, and if any GPS notification occurs, pet parents will be notified by PetHub immediately.
The company also provides customers with directories to access information on events, businesses, and local parks so that pets can exercise, socialize, and find items that suit their needs. With over 500 original articles housed on the PetHub website, customers receive a variety of information.
PetHub has been bestowed with “Editors’ Choice Award” as well as a “Silver Seal Retailer Select from Pet AGE Magazine. With multiple patents pending, further information may be accessed by visiting www.pethub.com, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/PetHub, and on Twitter @PetHub.
