Founder and owner of Scout & Zoe’s treats for dogs will appear on Animal Radio’s “Your Pet’s Carbon Paw Print” special show this Saturday, April 21, and Sunday, April 22, 2012. She will appear with celebrity guest host Ed Begley, Jr.
Cindy Dunston Quirk, owner and developer of Scout & Zoe’s, shared the reason the company exists is due to her dedicate to her dogs and their allergies. Since her dogs had extensive allergies, they were unable to enjoy bovine products such as bones, rawhide, or anything with a beef flavoring. The Nibblets chews are designed for small animals to keep their teeth and beaks in check. They are allergy free, and a green, organic, renewable resource, like all of the Scout & Zoe’s products.
Quirk shared, “It’s exciting to be part of the growing movement toward pet products that are more eco-friendly and sustainable. From the very beginning we have always wanted to be sure our product was a treat for the planet as well as a treat for our furry friends.”
Scout & Zoe’s was honored with a Green Spirit Award by PET AGE magazine early in 2011 for their positive environmental impact. Quick plans to discuss challenges in developing products of an eco-friendly nature as well as the rewards of doing so when she appears on Animal Radio.
The Scout & Zoe’s Natural Antler Dog Chews are 100 percent natural premium elk antlers that are gathered once they are naturally shed by elk as part of the animal’s life cycle.
The “Carbon Paw Print” special will air on over 101 AM and FM affiliates of Animal Radio along with their XM Satellite radio channel, 166. Animal Radio has 750,000 listeners every week. Visit AnimalRadio.com to learn more and find your closest affiliate.
