Dog Files Filmmaker to Host Video Production Workshop at BlogPaws
Kenn Bell, creator and executive producer of video series and website, Dog Files, and the Animal Planet special, Hero Dogs of 9/11, will host a three-hour master class at BlogPaws 2012 on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
BlogPaws is a media company and online community site for pet bloggers, pet enthusiasts, pet people on Twitter and Facebook and brands eager to tap into a growing, vibrant, vocal community of serious writers, bloggers, tweeters. The 2012 BlogPaws conference will take place June 21 through June 23, 2013, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at Sheraton Salt Lake City and is a pet-friendly event.
Bell’s three hour class at BlogPaws will feature planning, filming, and editing emotionally compelling video for bloggers and websites to captivate their audience. Bell plans to showcase one of his Dog Files episodes and analyze it step by step so that attendees can learn about structure, sound, and movement of the video. Once the master class is complete, Bell plans to revisit the same video so attendees can apply what they’ve learned in the session.
On Thursday night, June 21, Bell’s Animal Planet special, Hero Dogs of 9/11, will be shown with an exclusive question and answer session afterwards. It is being reported that a search and rescue dog team that worked at Ground Zero will be present as well.
Bell was inspired to combine his filmmaking skills with his love of dogs to create the Dog Files. Max and Bell travel around the country so they can document how dogs and their presence in the lives of people.
