Med ART Studios, a company specializing in home-health and family software applications for mobile devices including the iPad and Apple iPhone, have announced the recent release of the world’s first personalized and print-ready iPhone app-to-book for pets.
Dubbed “PetBook,” this is a free app for pet lovers to transform their digital memories into a coffee table style book. Users work with photos and interactive questions along with personalized text entries from their iPhone. The process takes “one click” and merits a personalized full-color soft or hardcover book for users’ pets.
In addition to the digital pet journal format, users have the option of downloading the project into a PDF format. In turn, the PDF can be emailed to friends or family in addition to the option of printing it.
Rob Kern, designer and co-founder of Med ART Studios, said, “PetBook is a hip, fun and easy to use iPhone app that we know will bring joy and lasting memories to pet owners.”
Some of the PetBook features include on-the-go personal entries and photos of pets, the ability to add or delete entries for customization of pet journal, multiple choice and fill in the blank with photo suggestions, and data is safely backed up on secure servers.
The apps from Med ART Studios have been featured by Apple, named best app by TIME magazine, recommended by Consumer Reports, and feature seamless back-end integration, ITunes ranking and search optimization, and real-time syncing across devices and JAVA servers. A focus of Med ART Studios is to deliver fun and engaging apps for both women and families. With their latest app, the company delves into the pet domain.
