For years, Equine Light Therapy has been helping horses stay stronger for competition and heal faster. Owner Christina Reguli is now launching Canine Light Therapy, "We have so many dog clients that we felt it was time to make it “official.”
So how does it work? “LED light therapy is really a way to help the body heal itself. The lights specific wavelengths increase the energy within the cell which speeds up the healing process. Using both red and infrared lights is beneficial as the wavelengths are absorbed bydifferent depths of tissue.
The combination of the two work in concert to provide benefits for
• soft tissue injuries
• inflammation, ligament soreness, tendon problems
• sore backs, splints, strains
• stifle issues
• sprains, swelling, shoulder pain
• hip pain, sore backs and necks
• salivary gland problems
• wounds, cuts, scrapes
• arthritis pain
• acupuncture points
“At first, Flyball and Agility dog owners were using our Equine Light Therapy pads before and after their dogs competed and getting great results. We then had several small animal Veterinarians that started using our Equine Light Therapy pads in their clinics and recommending them to their clients. Our dogs are members of our family and whether our wonderful friends are competitors or companions, we want them to be as happy and healthy as possible and we are honored that we can help that happen for so many by launching Canine Light Therapy”, says Christina.
