The Mexico Pet Expo will take place in Guadalajara from June 27 through June 29, 2012. The expo is the result of The Pet Business Association of Mexico seeking exchange ideas and conduct business in the pet industry due to the increasing numbers of pets in Mexico.
An estimated 150 exhibitors are expected with 5,000 international trade visitors to make the Expo Guadalajara into a success. NürnbergMesse North America and the Pet Business Association of Mexico have partnered this event they hope will set trends for future Mexican pet industry developments.
As a part of the expo, The Mexico Pet Expo Directory allows exhibitor products and services to be featured. Industry tailored, the guide is the official proprietary show directory and pocket guide. A New Product Showcase will also be featured at the expo wherein companies are urged to showcase “green” products to demonstrate a commitment to supporting pollution control, sustainability, and environmentally friendly recycling.
According to statistics revealed by the Mexico Pet Expo 2012, one in four Mexican families own a dog, and dog and cat sales are expected to increase steadily in coming years. Mexican families are also passing over table scraps and instead feeding packaged pet food geared at improvement and maintenance of pet health.
The expo itself is located 35 minutes from the international airport and is the largest convention center in the country, accommodating 50,000 visitors daily. Exhibitor categories that will be served at the 2012 expo include: Aquariums, Terrariums, Articles for Dogs and Cats, Articles for Small Animals and Rodents, Articles for Birds, Articles for Animals in the Garden, Boutique, Animals and Plants in the Home, Trade Literature and Multimedia, Shop Fittings and Packing, Pet Food Technology, and a Miscellaneous category.
