Patent Pending Harness Revealed, New Company Launches
A new company has launched that manufactures custom-fit people-friendly and pet-friendly harnesses and other products for dogs and cats. “Me and Mine” is a company touted as having products for pets and their owners, launched by Dallas, Texas resident, Laura Wejrowski.
The concept for the company was born when Wejrowski continually tried to corral her cats in and out of store-bought pet harnesses. She was taking her cats to the vet in them and decided there had to be a better way. "When I watched other pet-owners also wrestling with their animals, I knew there was an opportunity to create a user-friendly harness," Wejrowski shared.
The patent-pending dual clasp design of Me and Mine eliminates the need to push a pet’s head through the top of the harness. It also slides onto the neck area like a necklace would and the clasp remains on the animal’s back. Sizes are varied and are tailored to fit both neck and check so the pet has a safe and secure fit, according to Wejrowski.
In addition to the patent-pending harness, Me and Mine also sells specialty harnesses for injured animals, collars, leashes, and organic dog biscuits. The products come with a 100 percent guarantee, and 10 percent of all earnings are donated to organizations that promote safety and wellness of animals.
The clasp on the patent-pending harness is targeted at people with limited hand mobility or those who might have a pet who is less than cooperative or scared.
The owner of The Pooch Patio, April Prohaska, of Dallas, shared, “We tried Me & Mine collars on a handful of different breeds and sizes. The fit is good and with the adjustability, we were able to easily fit different size dogs.”
