Friday, Mar 9, 2012 9:00 am
Bock’s Identi Company recently announced an agreement with Rural King Supply in order to elevate and strengthen the distribution of their identification products to a variety of industries.
Bock’s Identi Company is an American manufacturer of general use and animal identification tags and bands. Their products, including the Bock's Plastic Jumbo Tags, Nylon ID Tags, Boc-Loc Brisket Tags, Multi-Loc Leg Bands, and their unique Bock's Neck Straps will begin to be available to the general public at the Rural King website.
Craig Salak, President of Bock's Identi Company, shared, “Expanding the business and reaching out to new users is a logical step for our growing company, and this new partnership will provide us with an opportunity to get our products into the hands of ID users across America."
Bock’s first launched as Bock's Cattle-Identi Company in 1042 and began their roots with the manufacture of numbered tags for cattle. The company has been involved in farming and was the first to make a plastic neck chain tag in the year 1943. They followed with an identification leg band in 1959 and a brisket/dewlap tag and neck straps for horses in 1964. Now that the company is involved in general identification tags, they hope to strengthen their presence with their recent agreement with Rural King.
Rural King was formed in Mattoon, Illinois, in 1960 and since that time, they have launched 52 stores in a seven state area including Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Michigan and Missouri. Their corporate office, distribution center, and flagship store are in the city of Mattoon. Touted as “America’s Farm and Home Store,” RuralKing.com was launched in 1997 so that the offerings could be available to regions not presently serviced by a physical store location.
