Sergeant's Pet Care Products Announces Company's Updates
Sergeant’s Pet Care Products recently revealed the launch of a new blog called The Pet Central Health Blog, which will have content provided by regular contributors and also be shared with approximately 250,000 fans on the Pet Health Central Facebook fan page.
Some of the contributors to the Pet Health Central blog will include Sandy Robins of MSNBC and WebMD; Dr. Tony Johnson, a practicing vet and pet world personality; Dr. Rod Van Horn, a practicing vet and expert in residence on pet dental health care; Blair Smith, owner of a self-service dog wash and full-service grooming salon in Austin, Texas; and Nichole Baugh, a public relations and social media specialist at Sergeant’s.
Caryn Stichler, vice president of marketing, shared “We’ve worked very hard to create a blog that will educate, entertain and inspire pet parents and others who love pets.”
Sergeant’s also announced new products to eliminate fleas and ticks, including Fiproguard MAX and Pronyl OTC Max. Both products will be available in four different dosing options for canines and are based on weight range. There is also a formula for cats. Formulas may be used on pets 12 weeks of age or older and are waterproof, according to the company. The products will be available in pet specialty stores across the United States in the spring of 2012.
Sergeant’s is located in Omaha, Neb., and has been involved in the pet care business since 1868. Some of their products include flea and tick remedies, health and well-being products, natural and formulated treats, rawhide, toys and accessories, and dental and aquatics.
